3 Updates:
1. The number of Study Abroad & Erasmus+ students increased in EUSA in the fall intake. (September 2021)
The impact of the vaccine in terms of confidence is undeniable. Spain holds one of the world largest vaccination rates registering over 78.9% of its population with two doses of the vaccine.
As a result, EUSA University Centre received 183 students this semester that started classes on Monday 20th under the Study Abroad, Erasmus+ and other formats. Unfortunately, the regions of Asia and North America are still finding difficulties to fly to Europe due to covid-19 restrictions.

2. Latin American students prefer Spain.
Due to the latest migration moves of the USA and the UK exit of Europe, Spain became the best option for Spanish speaking countries in South and Central America.
The number of applications for full degrees in EUSA multiplied in the beginning of 2019 and even though they got cut due to Covid, it started over during the summer 2021 and is expected to increase for the academic year 2022/2023.

3. As many Spanish speakers in Spain as… in the USA!
With a total population of 47M inhabitants, Spain will be very soon overtaken by the USA in terms of Spanish speakers – currently 45M -. Spanish is the top 2 native languages in the world with around 483M speakers. Also, more than 97M use it as a second language.
The Spanish Language School in EUSA accredited by Instituto Cervantes is just one more reason to choose EUSA Sevilla as a destination for semester students.

2 Cultural Tips
1. La Semana Santa & La Feria de Sevilla will be back in 2022!
The two most iconic festivities in the city will be back on tracks in the spring of 2022.
This is great news for los Sevillanos that waited patiently for 2 years the come back to the two great weeks of Seville: La Semana Santa & La Feria de Sevilla.
Both festivities gather the attention of nationals and internationals in the greatest month of the year for the city of Seville. As an Education Consultant, Professors or student, you will enjoy the nice weather, the environment, food and music around these festivities!
– Easter week in Seville: Sunday, April 10th – Sunday, April 17th
– La Feria de Sevilla: Saturday, April 30th – Saturday, May 7th

2. Visit your favourite films & series sets in Seville:
Seville multiplied its popularity among millennials after the popular HBO show Game of Thrones chose Seville as the set for its final season episodes. The popular gardens of the Alcazar, the Gothic Palace and the ruins of Italica were seen by millions of fans of the show.
Other films as Star-Wars, The Dictator or Laurence of Arabia were filmed in the beautiful Plaza de España, only 5 minutes away walking from EUSA University Centre.
