5 reasons why Seville is nice despite the Covid-19 pandemic
Our world has been turned upside down as a consequence of the COVID-19 Pandemic. You were probably excited to take that plane and go abroad for some time, yet the coronavirus irruption shattered those plans.
Where could you go with these circumstances? You would think that it is likely that you will get bored, there are some restrictions and measures that difficult the stay abroad. Well, these are a few reasons why Seville is still a good choice to visit and stay despite the situation.
1- Bars and restaurants may close early, but the food is still amazing!
If there’s something that characterizes Seville, it is its incredible gastronomy. Its famous dishes are welcomed at any time, and you can be sure that this virus situation does not have any influence on the taste. Still delicious!
2- City sightseeing is totally worth it.
There are so many hidden places and beautiful monuments to visit, that you will not miss nightlife. Sevilla has one of the biggest historic centers of Europe, and we can say with pride that its size almost matches its beauty.
3- People are cool!
Despite social restrictions and social distance, people are still warm and empathetic. You may not see people’s smiles, but you can still feel their sympathy. Almost no one in this area of the map will mistreat you or be rude to you. Take advantage of this and practice your Spanish!
4- Climate
Of course, climate always has to be mentioned. Seville has one of the best climates out of Spain, with little rain, warm temperature, sunny and bright days… Who would not like enjoying a drink with a friend near the Guadalquivir river while the sun shines on the water? It’s a 5 stars plan!
5- Key location
Seville is undoubtedly located in a really good place. It is surrounded by beautiful towns that you can visit if the mobility restrictions allow it. Or more, you can go further and visit one of the near provinces that are also very beautiful, like Cadiz or Granada.
All in all, Seville is an amazing city with and without the COVID-19 pandemic. If these reasons are not convincing enough… nothing will be!
